Last week of Fishing

The boys decided that they needed a "practice" weekend before their tourney in Feburary. So it was a total bonus day here in Bellingham and they headed out for some fishing in the San Juans. I stayed home and cleaned my fridge and took Fischer to the Skate Park and went to Costco. Apparently they went to Pt. Thompson and were "red hot." They had 5 fish to the boat but only got 4 in the boat. It was a good day and the were the only ones catching fish. I guess that the "hex" has been removed off of the team. I am no convinced that it is "me" that is the bad luck because when I'm not there they catch fish.

I'm a lemming...

I am not really sure what got into me this week as I went to the AT&T store and plunked down $200 for an iPhone. I know that my "Crackberry" was on it's last leg but an Apple product? I am still tied to Microsoft emotionally so I sort of cringed when picking up the iPhone. But it is so "cool." Again, "cool" when you are 40 is sort of an oxymoron. However, I have to say that I am in love!

I can take pictures, send them in email easily, I have a phone with GPS, and I can read and reply to my email. This is key as it appears I am working when in reality I'm at soccer practice or waiting for the bus.

So I have gone to the dark side but I'm loving it!
